Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs Installation - 2006 Hummer H3- Video
Today on a 2006 Hummer H3, we'll be installing the air lift ride control air helper springs, part number AL59563. To begin our install we're going to go ahead and raise up the rear axle and remove the rear wheels. While it may not be required, it will make it a lot easier to install our air bags. Now with the wheels out of the way, we'll go ahead and remove the ABS wire fastener that's secured to the side of the frame. Next we'll go ahead and assemble our air bag. Take the top of the air bag and the air fitting that screws in to the top, and thread it in hand tight. Once we have it hand tight we'll take a wrench and tighten it down two more full revolutions. Now with the air fitting tight, we'll take the upper bracket, put it down over the air fitting and use the plastic nut to secure the upper bracket to the top of the air bag. more
